We love Folkemødet, Denmark’s democracy festival, and we have been involved from the very first year. Lead Agency is based at Slægtsgården in Østergade, where we and our customers, friends and business partners enjoy local and fantastic hospitality in Slægtsgården’s old garden with hollyhocks and half-timbering. It’s the Danish summer atmosphere at its best.
Although Folkemødet may seem large and overwhelming, it is also a place where we can get close to each other and learn from one another. Here, civic-minded people of all ages and from all walks of life can meet ministers, MPs, local politicians, interest organizations, businesses, and debaters. They can talk about the issues that concern them and that they want to influence developments. The atmosphere cannot be described – it has to be experienced.
