Jacob Grandt

Creative Director, Head of Creative

Jacob is Creative Director and head of the creative department. He graduated twice from the Danish School of Media and Journalism, holding degrees in both Communication and Creative Communication. The combination gives Jacob a deep understanding of both strategy and idea and concept development.

He is also shaped by more than half a decade of experience at some of the biggest advertising agencies in Denmark and abroad, where he had the chance to work with some of the world’s most talented creatives on everything from PlayStation to cat litter.

Insights make him smile, and ideas give him butterflies. So much that Jacob does whatever he can to express his creativity even in his free time.

For instance, Jacob invented and published a board game called Reality Check, where you find out what your friends really think of you… and give them a shock with an electric taser in the process. You can buy it at your local Bog & Idé store.

He also has a side hustle as a visual artist, exhibiting in Copenhagen and London with the gallery Toxic Arts, which represents him.

And if you ask nicely, Jacob will happily tell you about the time he danced live on stage at Eurovision in front of around 15,000 people and more than 10,000,000 TV viewers.
