Ida Lautrup Nysom

Advisor

Ida is an Advisor at LEAD and works primarily with tasks within strategic communication, campaigns and public relations. Furthermore, she works across multiple disciplines of communication – such as copywriting, conference planning and podcast production. She is especially engaged in projects in the fields of sustainability, culture, entertainment and health.

When Ida is not at the LEAD office, she studies Communication at her 6th semester at the Danish School of Media and Journalism. Before joining LEAD, Ida completed a semester at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht in the Netherlands, where she sharpened her knowledge around global campaigns, branding and the psychology in media use. Ida has previously been an intern at EIT Climate-KIC, which is EU’s biggest public-private partnership within climate and innovation. Later, she was a student worker in communication at the BLOXHUB association. Ida has a project management education in cultural events from the Royal Danish Theatre.

Ida can’t pass a museum without taking a quick peep. When needing to unwind, you will find Ida surrounded by balls of yarn, armed with a crochet hook and with the Danish radio channel P8 jazz playing in the background. She thinks the clearest when walking – which is the reason why she, in 2018, spent a month walking the Camino in Spain. Here, she came to realize how many great conversations automatically occur when walking besides someone going the exact same way as you.
